Family Update

Here's a quick update, no pictures this time, but I'm working on a post that will hopefully be up sometime soon!

I just returned back home from staying with my friend L for a few days. J exiled me from Fargo to keep me safe. C was safe with relatives and J stayed back to continue to help with the flood fight. My parents have managed to stay dry and as of today can get in and out of their neighborhood. The fight and resolve of our community this past week brings tears to my eyes daily. What an amazing community we live in.

Baby Davis is doing quite well. We had an appointment on March 17th and got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. It was beating loud and strong at 148. (We're still thinking it's a girl...but we'll see in about 7 weeks!) I've been feeling much better for the last week or so which is a relief! So far everything is on schedule for the October 6th due date! We're praising the Lord for a healthy pregnancy so far and getting more and more excited by the day to meet our new little one.
