A few months ago I re-did the guest bathroom (or the “kids’ bathroom” I guess.) It used to be this very pretty, dark brownish-purple color with red towels and rugs, and a multi-colored striped shower curtain. I liked it, but I always thought it was too grown-up to be used by C. Plus the toilet was broken and since it had to be replaced anyway, it was the perfect opportunity for me to paint!
My inspiration was a picture I used to have hanging in my bathroom when I lived in apartments so very long ago.

Add a couple bits of girly flair (much to the boys’ dismay), some bright colored towels & candles and viola...new bathroom!
C loves the new look and I’m pretty happy at how it turned out myself.
